I tried to explain to my son that you can't decide if you're going to fall in love in someone or not. He thinks that boys simply aren't interested in the love thing at all:
– When we are men, we get very interested in falling in love. But when we're boys we just don't fall in love.
I guess you can't explain everything. Some things people has to experience themselves to understand.
Suddenly I see myself thinking about having a career and money in the future. But this is the closest to the Fortune Magazine cover I'll ever get. And looking at the covers of previous issues (FORTUNE 500, news, interviews - FORTUNE Magazine on CNNMoney)I find that it's a destiny I share with all of you that aren't normal (aka middleaged, white and male).
So I've decided to call it worth a fortune being me. That's not a swedish way of looking at things (Don't you ever forget the law of Jante!) so I guess I have to work on it for a while...
To plant a tree is a way of staying forever young. Or at least it will bring your loved ones a lot of walnuts once a year. It definitely makes a place in the shadow on a sunny day. And you can share that place with your mates. And that's all good.
The art of being disciplined is an overestimated quality. The art of being unpredictable and inconsecvent is creative (and sometimes disturbing).
So that could be a part of the answer to the question: –Why is the blogs title Thursdays with Fortes when it actually has turned into Fridays with Fortes? Another part of the explanation is of course that I find alliterations corny and I wouldn't dream of having Fridays with Fortes as my blogspot - totally insane.
