The made up car

This entry is on the edge of the weeks theme at Illustration Friday. The illo doesn't contain a car simply because of a story with a totally made up car.

When I was doing the laundry a man broke into the laundry room. I don't know how he managed, but he did. And he looked as having problems with toxic substances...
I tried to remain calm, simply asking him if I could help him with something. He looked surprised over the fact that there were someone behind the door and had to make up a story. The story was that he needed water for his car. The engine was boiling, he said...
Since I didn't have neither a bottle or a jar, I told him to go to the coffeeshop nearby instead. He left and I closed the door, as if that would help from having him there again...

A small adventure, probably without a car, but with a lousy excuse.

I guess cars are creatures with short lives. We love them, use them and wreck them in a fantastically rapid pace. Summing up the number of cars you've used will give you your carage...

Trying too hard

Trying too hard is dangerous. And messy. The really sad part is that most of the times the result is less than nothing.
