Kids have a fantastic ability to get wired. To calm kids down when they are in the middle of a game or trying out a funny new mood is almost impossible. And also unwanted - at most times.

Giggling and running around in the apartment. Do they still know where the beginning or end, up or down, is?
And suddenly a brother or a sister stops, changes the rules of the game and the playing continues immediately. The bedroom turns into a prison or a jungle and the livingroom into a castle. A paper gets ripped into small pieces, decorating the floor in a new way. Fantastic! You can balance on the pieces of paper or make them into boats! One part of the blowdryer spins around on the floor, the best spinning toy ever. A fantastic fantasy-developing factory.

After a while they come to me, all sweaty, sighs happily and asks me if we're going to eat soon. Not quite yet is the answer that brings them back to the game. And they always know exactly where in the game they were, which were the rules and who was playing which part.

They have total control over the process of growing up, learning more about the world and having fun at the same time.
